Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase).

Payment Information: Payment details are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We only store your Stripe customer ID.

Uploaded Documents: Commercial invoices and packing lists you upload are processed to generate compliance reports. Document content is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis.

Validation Results: We store the results of your validation runs including compliance scores, extracted data, and issue reports in our database.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service including pages visited, features used, and validation history.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service
To process your payments through Stripe
To send you validation reports by email via Resend
To maintain your validation history
To communicate service updates and changes
To analyze usage patterns and improve our AI models
To comply with legal obligations

4. Document Processing and AI

Documents you upload are processed as follows:

OCR processing extracts text from your documents on our servers
Extracted text is sent to Anthropic's API for AI analysis
Anthropic's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy
We do not sell or share your document content with third parties for marketing purposes
Document text is retained as part of your validation history

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following service providers necessary to operate the Service:

Supabase — authentication and database storage
Stripe — payment processing
Anthropic — AI document analysis
Resend — email delivery
Railway — cloud hosting
Google Analytics — website usage analytics

We do not sell your personal information to any third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and validation history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at admin@customsvalidator.com.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
Secure authentication via Supabase with JWT tokens
Row-level security on our database
No storage of payment card information

8. Cookies
